Mcintosh MC250/Quad 303 Comparison

This is a subjective question, in terms of sound how do the Mcintosh MC250 and Quad 303 compare in sound quality? I own a Quad 303.

Having owned an MC2505, the metered version, I found it to be warm and tube-like, it is a very early transistor design, quasi-complimentary output. Somewhat unique sounding as later McIntosh solid-state became much more neutral (in my experience).

The late version and early versions with the factory update typically produced 72WPC continuous / RMS within its advertised distortion spec.
