McIntosh ML-1C & McIntosh ML-1C any Good?

Looking at a Nice Pair McIntosh ML-1C and ML-1C EQ.

Excellent Condition $850 Shipped.

Not a Clue on how they sound but seems these are recommended.

They don't sound anywhere near $850.00 good. I wasn't impressed with the pair that I had.

I have owned two pair in the past. Not real clear at upper frequencies, but overall a satisfying sound.

I had my pair for exactly one week. Far too heavy and chesty sounding for me, with a distinct lack of transparency. Strangely enough, my Realistic Optimus T-200s easily sounded better than they did on all types of music. I paid 300 for mine.
