McIntosh Price Increases

[jayvis]

I was told that McIntosh recently raised prices on certain models. Does anyone know if the $5000 retail price is still in place on the C48?

Looks like $5K is still the correct price.

Yes, $5000 is still correct. We have started getting some of these in used now.. they never sit here long!

Just got a new C48 and MC302, got a good price on it and good dealer. It's is phenomenal-the phono section sounds unreal!! The Dac is nice too-lots of options with it. Mike from audio classics is right-he can't keep Preamps or amps in stock so I started hunting and just purchased new. I did, however, just get an MVP871 from him and cant wait to get it!

For that kind of money I'd expect it to sound very real.. like a live performance in your room!
