I went over there today, but no one was home. I'll try again this evening. I know his name and his address. I looked him up in the phone book he was not listed. I then looked in an old phone book and he was listed. Evidently he had his name removed from the phone book. Should I call him and have to explain how I got his phone number or just keep going over there until I find him home? It's only three blocks from my house so that would be no big deal.
 
John you better jump on this or I will!! JK... I notice you're from Redding, good little town years ago probably gotten a bit bigger now great fishing.

Well, I finally found the guy home and we talked a little and the upshot is he's decided not to sell his equipment now. He's keeping my number and if he ever does decide to sell, I'll get first choice. I sort of got the idea he's working himself up to it but can't quite turn loose yet. Boy, do I know that feeling. I can't even bring myself to get rid of stuff that doesn't work.
