I think this is a case of a rising tide lifting all ships. While MCS wasn't really a sought after brand, the vintage look is now in demand. Whether we like it or not, a mid level MCS reciever with a silver face and meters is in the $250 ballpark. It's not a screaming deal at that price, but it is not an unreasonable price at this point. Consider that an MCS 3125 is now a $1000 reciever, pre-restoration. A 3253 is no 3125, but then again, an SX-680 is no SX-1080 yet it still trades at over $200 easily. I'd rather have the 3253 than an SX-680...
