Calvin and Hobbes was perhaps THE finest cartoon ever published.
I'm lucky enough to lived through the golden age of newspaper cartoons where Calvin and Hobbes, Bloom County, and The Far Side were al being published at the same time and Sundays were GLORIOUS!!
It was indeed one of the finest. Though, personally, I'm partial to my avatar.

Owned lots of MIT cables over the years trade ins and in house builds.
Customers would ask for preamplifiers or amplifiers modded internally with MIT-330.
As was the style in the 90's. Dam, I hated working with that stuff.
Built "MIT-330 ShotGun" cables for customers and they worked but it's like a 1 to 2% improvement for a cable that retails for 1,200$ in 1988.
Not very cost effective.
They had an interesting 10K resistor and a .005 Pf cap across the input that was hidden inside those horrible locking RCA's.
So that places a 10K load starting at the crossover point. Similar product with the same idea but it connected across the tweeter.
When I visited the MIT rooms at CES a few times their system was Pathetic as in my GF's was better.
Over the years I've owned about 100 tweaks all trade ins.
Bybee, Ultrasonic filters. Their claim was Submarine Sonar secret technology.

Transparent audio, Vacuum cables. In which the center conductor was coated in tar.
Shunyata power conditioners... Inside... Nothing~! Zero, Zilch!
Miles of cables some bigger than a garden hose.
A 25 foot pair of Welding cable speaker wires that weighed at least 40 lbs. They were also the Worst sounding speaker cable of all time!
Power conditioner "Power Company" a 60 lb chunk of copper and steel! Buzzed like a table saw!
Many expensive power conditioners inside a pair of Commode mode chokes and a few caps 900$ or more... Does Nothing audible!
In about 2010 it was the Carver hologram circuit in a 18" wide box, Gave everyone a headache after 30 minutes.
Harmonic tuning forks, Forgot what they were called. Yikes. You can actually hear them doing "Something?".
Brilliant pebbles.
