Very good, a pretty underated amp if you ask me.

Thanks for great thread. I have had one of these amps since the 1980s. I took it to be repaired once (I tested auto cut out feature once too often with a screwdriver- doh!) and I was told this is a very good amp. Apparently Mitsubishi
don’t do things by half and tried to do best components for price. About 8 years ago I put in a Yamaha Av receiver as I wanted to combine DVD/tv sound and retired the Mitsubishi. This month Yamaha failed so I bought a Denon PMA 600 NE amp which has digital audio input for tv. Sound from Denon was not very good quite flat esp muddy percussion so out of frustration I hooked up Mitsubishi and was blown away! Clearer, brighter, wider, almost three dimensional sound IMHO.
Just need to replace bulbs on VU meter which I will do with help advice in this post.
