Mitsubishi ms-20 recap help

Hello everyone,
I am recapping my first set of speakers, a pair of Mitsubishi diatone ms-20's, and was hoping i could get a little advice. What type of capacitors should i get? Mitsubishi used Rubycon Nonpolar Axial Electrolytic Aluminum Capacitors originally that are 13mmX31mm in the 15uF rating. I notice that most electrolytic capacitors with the same rating are smaller. Would standard electrolytic capacitors sound good? Is there any use in changing the inductor coils? If so how do i know what gauge wire to get? my guess is that the lower number on them is the mH rating correct? Also is their any need to replace the resistors? If so what type should I buy?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Would standard electrolytic capacitors sound good? Don't know what you mean "standard". In a speaker all capacitors must be bipolar. Film type capacitors are better than electrolytics in performance and reliability. The 50V rating on the originals is marginal; look for 100V rating for replacements.

Little or nothing is gained by replacing inductors or resistors.

Sorry, by standard i just meant electrolytic instead of polypropylene film. Thank you for your response. should i change the two orange capacitors like the one in the last pic as well? As far as the film type 10uF capacitors are concerned would one of these two be appropriate?

I used Solen caps when I re-capped my MS-20's and MS-30 3-ways. It's been so long now I forgot all of the values but it's well worth the effort. I purchased my MS-20's new in 1978, and re-capped them about 12 years ago or so.

The MS-30's are pictured next to some older DS-35B's. My MS-20's are still in use in another system but I don't have a pic of them.

That is sweet. these are my first Mitsubishi's and i love them. They are a little soft in the mids but i imagine the ms-30's are better. I have had and enjoyed these speakers for a while now and thought they might benefit from a recap. Thanks for the pic that is a nice set up.

The Diatone woofers on the MS-20s have an issue with surrounds hardening.

I know this is an old thread but for the benefit of future readers, most speaker cloth surrounds that have hardened can be softened using DOT 3 brake fluid. Yes, you read that right! LOL

I’ve done this on many Sansui speakers and a few other brands
