Modern Sub for MV-1 Varistor?

I'm in the middle of a Marantz 1122DC restoration and originally noted the amp boards were missing four of the MV-1 varistors listed in the service manual. Once I pulled the board apart I found them on the backside (why?), covered in clear shrink and nasty glue. Looks like they're black and white epoxy balls.

The unit didn't have any issues so I don't need these replacements now but I have modern cross references for most of the older epoxy diodes/varistors/etc. Just missing this one and I can't even find a data sheet. Hoping one of you can help just in case I have future issues with this integrated.

Do you have a copy of said list?

Would it be available to a fellow ak-er?
Anyway, I'm hunting for the same varistor equivalent currently. I have a 170dc that has them on the reverse side as well and I suspect they've gone bad since the DC offset voltage climbs up to 100mV.

I'll let you know if I come across something, as my matter is much more urgent than yours.
