Is there any value in mono gear? Such as Pilot, Knight, Voice of Music, Pioneer.

Thanks for the reply, I will get the models.
That is an excellent answer. My take is that all mono tube gear has some value and certain pieces can be quite valuable.

And in the case of amps, things are better if you have two that match sonically and cosmetically.
Don't forget to check out the value of the tubes inside also they can easily be worth more then the gear there in, I have snagged some pretty nice Mullard long black plate D getter 12AX7 tubes from mono gear before one at a time Pilot, Knight, Voice of Music all used Mullard tubes along with other brands.

Find two alike and you'll have mono blocks
If you want to listen in stereo, mono preamps are not convenient. FM is actually quieter in mono and you can get a mono Sherwood 3000 with nice tube sound well under $100. Records are also quieter in mono but you would need a mono pickup to listen with a mono preamp. Gear that old usually needs work.
To me, the value of mono tube amps depends on whether or not there are two examples of said amp available. If there's only one amp available, the value (to you) goes up if you happen to already have a single example of said amp. Mono has its places, but I prefer having two channels available. Using two mono preamps for stereo can be a pain, but some were made to be converted to two channel use (Dynaco PAM-1, Heathkit SP-2A) using add-on adapters.

I bought a lot of mono amps over the years but never receivers or tuners (unless w/ MPX out). Might pass on integrated amps too but sometimes did depending on rarity.
My buying was driven by whether or not the gear could be used in a stereo system. With a mono amp you were halfway there and you'd find another eventually.

I like that Pioneer though, early Japanese Space Age vibe. Back to your question, @EastPoint nails it.

The Pilot receiver appears to be a real quality piece , lots of iron and 6L6 outputs. The Pioneer is cool!
I have the twin of that Knight integrated. Seems to be pretty well made.
Yes you would. You should see an MPX out jack that can go to a decoder. Vintage tube decoders are scarce and some are expensive. These solid-state decoders work well: http://fmmpx.com/
