Mountains To Climb; One A Day

It's been dry, I think fireworks were restricted during the Days of '47 Pioneer day celebrations while I was there.

With my love of mountains, valleys and rocks of all kind, I wonder why I still remain in dumpy-ass Michigan all these years. :D (A few more years though...! We're actively researching places to move out west.)

Go west young man! :)

Better do it quick though, the experience is changing rapidly.
Just the other day I got up early and got into one of my favorite fishing holes.
Some jerk-off walked right down and got right into my fishing hole almost right next to me!
Expressed disdain and left. Sure enough, when I saw the licence plate, my suspicions were correct...California.

Fwiw.
Out of state outdoorsfolk pay a substantial portion of the budget for mountain states wildlife husbandry. Otoh, They can be a pita, but they do help to keep the Good Things going.

- sigh - I guess you're right. And I guess if I went to Detroit or some places in California, I wouldn't know how to act either.

True, from a cricket stomper to a spud miner.
SLC is becoming LA East, btw, but the Uintahs endure.
Hey Pio, have you ever heard the term "carrot snapper"?
That's what old Idahoans call Utahns.
Apparently when they first arrived, that was one of their only crops that made it, and they had to survive off of them for a season.(?)
