Multiple Question Marks

There's just to much **** going on in the world to worry about this stuff.

Amen. I write for a living, and I've demonstrated I can be pompous, but I'd still say Eric summed it up. Don't sweat the small stuff.

That's it, we need to appoint some official spelling and grammer police to maintain the integrity of this, and no, I won't volunteer!!!! I'll nominate SandyG tho....

Oops!!!
Forgove me father, for I have sinned. :D
But, I'd rather read something with to many punctuations marks as opposed to something with no punctuation marks. Honestly, if I can understand the text, I don't really care how it is puctuated or spelled. If I can't understand it, I just move on. :tears:

Umm, it's the former copyeditor in me. . .

...grammar police

I actually thought this was a pretty funny thread and hope no one is offended by anything here. I've been a copy editor and author's editor in the past, and I've found that many academics and researchers do not have a handle on grammar and usage, considering such matters the editor's domain.

Absolutely right. . . I mean its called communication. . . getting your idea or whatever you are trying to say across in a manner that others understand what has been said regardless of being correct according to some rules we all learned (most of us) in school so many many years ago that it has been long since forgotten and not necessary anyway as we do understand what we are saying and what is being said since most of the time it ain't rocket science anyway. . .

The use of question marks speaks volumes ????????????????

There's very little that can be typed that bothers me, as long as the person is considerate of others while communicating the message. I was lucky to get out of high-school with my life, much less a diploma. I don't remember anything I was ever taught in english, other than i before e except after c... or something like that. If the person typing can manage to do so without being an ass, I'm happy.
