That's what I meant. Folks change all kinds of stuff. I guess the various mods are different. Mine was bought used so I guess it could be upgraded too. I just don't know.
I moved mine into my office system. Man it sounds great, the Chinese chip amp went into the closet. I found a new front end tube that does sound much better than everything else I've had. 6sH7 GT. A glass bottle signal corps tube for the US Army from the 1950's. A little more gain than the 6SJ7 and sounds more open and dimensional. My 717's are too microphonic now to compare.
This question shows that you do not understand why it uses 1A fuse... The blowing is a sign that something is wrong with your amp... its a thankfull pre caution implemented device
If you use a higher A fuse maybe your amp will fry unrepairably...
