MX110 Bumblebee Cap value?

Hi Folks

Doing a power supply rebuild and a slow step-by-step recap of the crucial (mostly 'lytic) caps on a newly acquired MX-110.

Just wanting to find out the value of those bumblebee caps. The calculator online tells me they are .18mF, 200v.

In all the online discussion, I haven't come across that value as a replacement cap (as it appears that value is no longer available...)

-So is .22mF 400v a good replacement for those? And if so, would a Nichicon QXP series cap do the job?

Thanks!

.22 uf 400v should work fine, it's just under a 22% increase in capacitance which should be negligible

Hello Westeagle
Your picture is coming from one MX110 Z serie right ?
If you answer is yes , these capacitors are not listed in the MCINTOSH MX110 parts list ! those are 100nF/400V
They can't be 18 or 0,18 something simply because there is no the right color for 8

I am sure about my answer , so don't keep to make other research and buy (easy to find) new polypro type very good capacitors ! this value was also used in MX110 X (C206, C306) and Z serie (C89, C90).
Regarding MX110 M serie, the value was different and was 0,047µF/400V , they are C205 and C305 if you want to find them on schematic .

Thank you! -I thought the colour was grey but that stripe is actually black -which changes everything! So it converts to a .1 mF 400v.
