Don't you think your statement is a bit rash? What does it matter where something is manufactured? Are you saying that everything you own or have bought was researched, developed, designed, sourced, manufactured and assembled - and then marketed, sold, distributed and serviced in the United States? I don't think so :nono:

According to my quick research, clearly they are a multi-national company and serve a worldwide market. Headquartered in Illinois, and a manufacturing site there as well; In addition to their manufacturing in the USA, Mexico and China, they also have offices and distribution centers throughout Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim; Also sales and marketing locations in China, Japan and Netherlands.

The Shure M97xe would not be $56 if Shure's business plan was altered to your beliefs :) In fact, in might not even exist at all.
 
I got one those as well only $51 but for me a tank of fuel for my truck is $173! At least I get 800-900 miles out that one tank.
