Nice receiver, is that two big yellow antenna's in there?
Very rare in my country, some put up a search ad for a 9500 dead-or-alive, if it ever pops up it is for top money.Ronald , this surely is a coincidence.
Although 9500 is not super rare but it still occurs rarely .
Of the 20 transistors you mentioned i believe theose are the small ones . The small black one half a pea sized. Well mine were also changed 4 yrs ago by the first tech . But i have seen so many fakes in the market here . I know that my first tech used only top notch components coz he cannot deal with fakes repeatedly he says.
Do these small transistors have to do with signal path? Sorry dumb question
That's excellent! I am very pleased you are now finding pleasure in listening to it.Hyperion.
The difference before n after was NIGHT n DAY .
The highs got so much opened up n detailed.
There was something wrong withwthis machine that got corrected .
m not chasing for some ghost frequencies out of it . Its just so much better balanced now .
Please elaborate in english for me .
Is the 2.2 uf capacitor rightfully there in my amp.
Does it mean that what im listening to is now the original state of 9500 as factory settings (with ofcourse the addition of polyprops)..and not any mods to the topology ?
As a tech, no way to argue with marketing guys and things they produce (like this video).
Whatever one tells them, it will not get there.
I think some Yamaha engineers would pull their hairs watching this video.
It is a shame how those guys molest the circuit cards the way they rip out parts.
It is just opinion, I am not an expert, although I definately can compete sitting on the couch having my eyes closed
I think the amp used in the video ended up in the garbage.
It is a Yamaha engineer in the video tuning the voicing of the amp...what's so hard to understand?
What OP is asking for is best left to experts like in this video
Although, it might give some interesting insight of "commonpractice" in a lot of hifi shops.Sorry but those are two muppets messing up nice gear. That video misinform over enthusiast end users.

I just describing what I see... take it to marketing department. You are absolutely correct. What would a self titled "Supervisor of HiFi Group" at Yamaha know? If he knew what he was doing he would be doling out free expert opinion on AK under the "No spin zone"
I thought this was a bit of humour. What OP is asking for is best left to experts like in this video
