My attempt at a SX-680 recap list

OK this is the list that I compiled by physically looking and measuring the actual capacitors. I cross checked with markthefixers list on this thread. I did not use the schematic being I did it as a visual with the actual unit. I made my spreadsheet in a manner that would make sense to me so please don't beat me up too bad. Please let me know if there is anything that I might have overlooked.

It's a good try but for extra clarity I'd include the item designation. Eg C1, C2, Q1 etc.
Well done

I’ve been reading this thread thoroughly as I have a 680 with no sound output. I already have most of the parts in a Mouser cart. However, there are these that I couldn’t find (the reason is in parentheses):
  • CEANL R47M 50 0.47 50 2 C301,C302 598-DSF050J474 (not available)

  • CEA 470P 16 47 16 3 C336,C125,C407 647-UPW1C470MED (not found)

  • CEA 470P 25 47 25 1 C502 647-UPW1E470MED (not found)

  • CEANL 010M 50 1 50 2 C138,C141 698-DSF050J105 (not found)

  • CEA R47P 50 0.47 50 2 C150,C151 598-DSF050J474 (not available)
  • 647-UPW1E101MED (On back order)
    Any alternatives to these??

I am just about to press send on my Digikey order to rebuild a friend’s 680. Here are my replacement for your above parts (in corresponding sequence):

  • WIMA - MKS2F034701M00KSS
  • Nichicon - UPW1H470MED1
  • Nichicon - UPW1H470MED1
  • WIMA - MKS0B041000F00KSC9
  • Nichicon - UPW1J101MPD6‎
Please note I buy a bunch of these caps in bulk for inventory, and will purchase the 63V version to have available for future projects, as is the case above with the above power supply caps.

I hope this helps regardless. Happy soldering.

Hey All,
The lead spacing on the original 8000uf power supply caps is 16mm and the replacements measure 10mm. My question is with such short lead length on these snap in caps how are you getting them to fit?
Thanks Steve

Looks like I answered my own question. Taking a minute and looking at the trace side of the board there are 2 optional holes filled with solder spaced 10mm apart that are on the same traces as the original capacitors with 16mm leg spacing.
