Jeff, the only person who needs to be happy about your system is You! If you like it, we are glad for you.

Your system is not to my taste, but i am old, and my ears can't take the LOUD any more. But, brother, if it turns your crank, enjoy the music. That is what its all about. :thmbsp:

That's not bad JB, not bad at all. I wish'ed I would've started when I was 15. A hint, make sure you do a lot of reading of the old threads, use the Advanced Search function, be sure to "uncheck" the Exact name box. It'll give you more hits.

Well, if you want more/other gear, you will have to do what we do:
  1. Get a job and save your drachmas.
  2. Figure out what piece(s) you can live without, and sell 'em (Here or elsewhere)
  3. Post that you are willing to trade, if selling (outside here) is too big a hassle. Let everybody know what you are looking for. An AK member might be looking to dispose of the very piece that is the object of your audio lust.

Good luck to you. You are starting down the road to madness that has captured all of us, to varying degrees. You are getting an early start. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. But it will be a fun thing. :thmbsp:

its loud sounds good but still im in search for somthing better but my parents wont let me buy anything
/Old fart mode...

When I was your age, I mowed lawns, raked leaves, shoveled snow...anything I could do for a buck. Dad would pay me a few bucks for washing and waxing the cars and an occasional oil change, and at a local nursing home I ran errands for some of the old folks there (to the store for groceries or the RX for prescriptions).

For a 15yr old, money don't come easy, but you gotta be imaginative. :scratch2:

Talk to mom and dad, tell them you want to earn some money and are willing to work hard for it, and get their feedback. They should be glad to help.

Good Lord, I feel like Dear Abby.... :)

Hell, kiddo, I wished I'd had that good a system when I was 15-you got nothin to apologise for-and a LOT to be proud of. I was yr age in the Great Quadrophonic Wars of the early '70s- lotsa worthless crapola being put forth then.. -Sandy G.

what kind of speaks do you have

Realistic NOVA-18 2-way bookshelf speaks. JVC R-S33 is
supposed to be driving them but the the Nova's foams are completely gone. i think i already ruined them anyhow. my mom's 25 year old heaphones sound better anyhow.

By the way, great system.

Although, You probably have a little more $$$ to get gear. I don't, not gonna get into that, but what i'm trying to say is you're lucky and i'm jealous of your system!
:lmao:

o my dad has a pair of jbl L112s power by two nad amps a 3150 and a 2150 with techichs cd player he payed big mony for that stuff back in the 80s

Don't really have too much in the Master's Suite-just really a boombox on my nightstand that I listen to Art Bell on 1510 WLAC on. My big Yammy system is in the living room-the only place big enuff to do it justice. -Sandy G.

how old are you did you buy your speakers new or used and wered you get them?

I myself am 14. The NOVA's My mom bought on clearance at Radio Shack new about 10-12 years ago, for her Sears All-in-one stereo. Foun out the foam was shot, then i joined AK and found out i didn't have to chuck them (Halleluja!).

Damn !! I'm surrounded by you young whippersnappers !! Enjoy it fellas, turn around twice, & next thing you know, you'll be staring down the barrels of 50 like I am ! Jeff, I think you oughta big-deal yr dad into visiting us here. -Sandy G.
