...and I'm hoping someone can send me some images of the missing piece.
Background: My sister- and brother-in-law kindly gave me their non-operational Braun 400S turntable for Christmas (they included their walnut kangaroo speakers, too, for real it's a kingly gift). They're fastidious people who kept it in excellent condition, so it was a mystery why the platter wasn't spinning.
The fellow at the local repair shop discovered that it's missing... a part. We have the original schematic, replacement belts, etc. but not a service parts list, so I'm not sure what the missing part is called. It's located directly under the platter, so it's a weird piece to go missing. And it's definitely not rolling around inside.
I know there are a couple of people here who have the same or a similar turntable. I'm wondering whether anyone could possibly take a couple of images of this part for me, please and thank you? I've given up on finding a replacement part, but I'm confident that my uncle could machine one if he has enough reference images.
