Those old Bogen PA tube amps make good guitar amps. In most cases, no modification is needed...just just plug your guitar into the mic jack and play.

If I didn't suck so much at playing guitar, maybe I'd use them as guitar amps, but they are more likely destined for hifi audio use.

Oh yeah Realistic was big into that gold and white color combination for a stretch of the early 60s.

The two-color combo was common during that time. Dynaco, for example, used black and gold; others used silver and black, or silver and white. Still, others used their own colors.

Yeah the gold look was definitely in around that time. But Realistic really seemed to favor the Black, White, Gold combo.

Thanks. I've been told it looks more like the first generation Dynaco PAS but then again, a lot of household audio equipment used the gold color in the early 60's.
