I have a new listening buddy. Only part-time as I learn how to co-parent with my partner (living together...apart).

This is Buttercup. She is a rescue and about 90% deaf due to neglect and chronic ear infections in her previous life.
Here she is demanding to know why my "lap" top is in her spot?

I like Buttercup but if I ever have a boxer or bulldog it's name would have to be Mugsy.

My listening buddy passed some years back but he still brings a smile to my face whenever I see a pic or think about him.
Hopefully he will bring a smile to your face with his Nipper impersonation.

lol he’s good at blending in with the surroundings. A little to good lol That is my big guy Benji, Benjamin Presley to be exact. His birthday is 1/8 (Elvis's Birthday).
That video was a year or so ago, he’s lost some weight since than, but as you can tell I’m the video he’s a big boy. He’s really tall with long legs. 19” tall while sitting up.
He was 18lbs in that video, a little to big so he went on a little diet and is down to 16.7lbs
That’s him a few days back. ^^

Almost lost my sweet baby girl last week. She had a binky (pacifier) lodge in her Duodenum. Very risky surgery and we're just now clearing the danger post-op window. Duodenum was this close to perforating.
Here's the crazy thing. I adopted her two years ago. The previous owners had a baby. There have been absolutely no children or babies in her orbit since. In the last two years she has pooped out 3 Binkys! And this 4th one stayed in her stomach out of sight of x-rays for 2 years! Her surgeon assures me there should be no more left.
Killer scar...
Her 1st poop two days after surgery...

Our Cliff. He has an enlarged heart. Result of hyperthyroidism we didn't catch early. On four meds every 12 hours. And kidney failure from the heart meds. Last December, vet Cardiologist said Cliff had a year. He still enjoys life. Not as much energy, but still likes to play.
Each cat on different diets. Have two microchip reading feeders that only open for right programed cat. Tracks when and how much they eat, too. Training cats is no small feat. Getting them to accept automatic moving food cover. Training modes that gradually do more movement as they get used to it.
