Almost lost my sweet baby girl last week. She had a binky (pacifier) lodge in her Duodenum. Very risky surgery and we're just now clearing the danger post-op window. Duodenum was this close to perforating.

Here's the crazy thing. I adopted her two years ago. The previous owners had a baby. There have been absolutely no children or babies in her orbit since. In the last two years she has pooped out 3 Binkys! And this 4th one stayed in her stomach out of sight of x-rays for 2 years! Her surgeon assures me there should be no more left.

I’m glad that was a success story , often times in those situations they aren’t, may she have many happy healthy years ahead of her.

Our Cliff. He has an enlarged heart. Result of hyperthyroidism we didn't catch early. On four meds every 12 hours. And kidney failure from the heart meds. Last December, vet Cardiologist said Cliff had a year. He still enjoys life. Not as much energy, but still likes to play.
Each cat on different diets. Have two microchip reading feeders that only open for right programed cat. Tracks when and how much they eat, too. Training cats is no small feat. Getting them to accept automatic moving food cover. Training modes that gradually do more movement as they get used to it.

Sorry to hear about Cliff, it really sucks when our best buddies have medical conditions, we want them to be that young healthy kitty or puppy forever but doesn’t work out that way all the time, all we can do is give them the best life we can and show them all the love and kindness we can give.

Sorry to hear about Cliff, it really sucks when our best buddies have medical conditions, we want them to be that young healthy kitty or puppy forever but doesn’t work out that way all the time, all we can do is give them the best life we can and show them all the love and kindness we can give.

awe poor gal, hope she’s all better now!

Our little guy benji had to have a mass removed his chest this year, was a long healing process, and cats and cones don’t mix well at all. He had to be in a T-shirt for a few months to keep him from licking at it. He’s back to his his old self now, but I sure was a stressful time.

It's taken me a while to get around to posting this.

My sweet baby girl Brooklyn succumbed to Lymphoma and crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 18th of this year. A mere 7 months after defying the odds and surviving the infamous "Binky" surgery.

In honor of her undeniable cuteness here are a few of my favorite pics.
