That is totally cool! How many people can say they have one of a kind art for a power conditioner/surge protector? Great aesthetics and functionality! Take that Shunyata, Nordost and the like! :thmbsp:

I just read this thread. That is one awesome piece of work. I love it!

Could you make a mold from it and then cast some kind of clear plastic to make them without having to carve them all?

Well, I just purchased the parts for this, now I'm looking for a good case. Anyone have anything in mind that would work? Some sort of project box would be nice as I'm nowhere NEAR as talented as djnagle.

Hey Tube, I think you will be surprised at the diff it makes in the sound of your system. I have taken it out and put it back in many times to show people the diff. I don't even live in an area that has unstable power....like in a big city or industral area. Post pics as you go. Cheers.
 
You gotta put some blue lights in there to give it a nice mellow glow. Maybe a "radiation warning" sticker on it somewhere too.

I haven't received the parts yet, they are still in the mail, but do you think individualy they would fit into an Eico HF chassis? If so I may build this into a pair of Eico's and put the outlets accross the back.

Do you mean build the amps on new chassis? then make those into the power stips? I can't tell from the pics the size of them. Don't know if I'd mess with those, they are pretty cool looking un-to-themselves.

Not exactly, build the power filter/conditioner into that style chassis with the plug outlets on the back.

Don't worry, I'm not going to tear those apart as they aren't even mine. Just an approximation of what an HF chassis looks like. I just bought a set of HFT's on eBay a few min ago after I looked up the measurements. I THINK they will fit. :banana: I'll probably stack the amps on top of the power supply. Power supply on bottom, amp on top (2 columns), with my Sony hd tuner which is inside a HFT chassis. Now I just have to make a blank brass front plate.

This is the current layout.

The integrated amps on either side of the tuner will just be twice as tall (stacked).
