Been working on this setup and progressively upgrading it from a couple bookshelf speakers and a crappy AIWA receiver to what it is now. I was very fortunate to have been recently gifted a couple of Altec A7 V.O.T.T. speakers in custom cabs from a very dear friend of mine who was the main Altec supplier for churches around here for several decades. Current setup is
Sources are:
PC running an Asus XONAR series sound card
AIWA AD-WX777 dual cassette deck
Components are:
Yamaha A-1020 Integrated Amplifier (280 watts per channel)
2 Altec A7's on A channel
2 Sansui SP3500's on B channel
2 Pioneer CS-G303's on C channel
My listening space is pretty small for the Altecs (only live in an 800 sq ft apartment) but I've got them tuned to where I really like them and I'll be damned if I say no to a free pair of A7's haha. Hope you guys enjoy!
