NAD 7080 Rebuild

I recently acquired a NAD 7080 and I want to rebuilt it. For now I only Deoxited it, changed the front LED and I'm currently replacing all the button in front. I decided to start a thread to follow all the process. So far I'm planning on:

-Recapping
-Change power switch (arcing and sparking)
-Fix signal and tuning meter in front
-Veneer the cabinet with a rosewood or similar wood

If you guys have any recommendations or tips, let me know! :)

I just got the remaining knobs in the mail today. I should be able to post another picture this weekend.

You still got any of your old nobs or push buttons left. I just acquired a 7080 myself but it's missing some nobs and the push button. Super rare so I haven't had much luck finding any replacements. Thanks.

I just picked up a NAD 7080 receiver. I need to replace the power button and one of the buttons on the far right. The link in the beginning of this thread doesn't work anymore, anyone know of another source?

I recently purchased an **it load of knobs from that site a few weeks back. I'm working on a 7030 & 7060 with a few missing knobs. Of course, they'll be in transit for another few weeks so check back with me. I'm sure we can work something out.

Thank you! I'll check back in a few weeks. The only ones I am missing are the power and the one on the far right bottom.
 
Mine is experiencing volume drops. When first powered on it is fine, but volume level drops to around 50% after a few seconds. Anyone else have this problem?
