Trying to figure out what this speaker is. Can anyone identify it?

Possibly a Utah, the woofer basket and horn look Utahish. I'm just'a figgerin'.

They are Utah Heritage HS1-C.

Absolutely 100% UTAH, you guys called it! In my experience they are not the best sounding but the cabinets are solid bases for a DIY project.

BTW the models numbers on a lot of these are quite screwy. I have a pair somewhere in my garage that are labeled as HS5-C but they have always seemed identical to the 1-Cs halo mentioned.

I had a pair of HS1-c's and they did not have that red horn. I think they had one or two cone tweeters. Anyway the woofer is deffly Utah so I'm not arguing with anyone, just saying the driver compliment apparently varies.

These don't have much for a crossover, and the woofer has an accordian paper surround so don't expect extremely low bass extension. Good garage speaker though.

Tox, that is interesting. The HS1-C's I have, have the exact drivers in them as pictured above. With labels on the back saying Utah Heritage HS1-C.

And yeah, not very good sounding speakers at all. I still have mine and plan on using the cabs for a DIY project I have been sitting on. I have some Dynaudio and Morel drivers needing a home. The cabinets are really well made though.
