I picked up a smaller pair of ADS years back...Not one driver was original! Might explain why they were at the curb over a weekend.

Don’t lose any sleep over it, it was just someone’s junk. I think ADS speakers were OK but not great, they sounded somewhat shrill to me. Not nearly as bad as the Heresy of course but...tainted.

I’d guess something wasn’t right with the ADSs you heard. They are anything but shrill, and my ears are sensitive to shrill sounding speakers.
