I have the option for a mint Kenwood LA 1 with the following specs: (Pics from the internet) and a reasonable price.

This is a flagship amplifier supposedly made by Accuphase for Kenwood.
I currently have a Sansui CA / BA 3000 set and a Mcintosh MC 7200.
I auditioned it yesterday connected to a pair of vintage sony 12 in 3 way speakers and felt the midrange very prominent as compared to the rest of the sound.
I plan to pair them with either b&w 683 or wharfedale diamond 9.6 floor standers.
Has anyone had any experience with this amp? And how would it compare to an Accuphase?
