Need advice on what to keep and what to purge

Hi all! Need some advice on what to keep and what to purge since I've accumulated way too much stuff for the space I've moved into with my girlfriend and I want to do it in the right place so as not to break any rules please. A lot of it isn't great to start with so just fair warning lol. Thank you all for the help!

I need to subscribe anyway, but in this case I need to know what pieces I have that will sound better overall that I should try to hold onto for my own music listening area and or movie watching space, if that makes sense. Not asking values or anything

Well it's kind of hard to tell you what your ears hear...but I suppose we can offer our opinions.
 
Opinions are all I'm asking for. I'm a little overwhelmed and not a lot of rest listening time for 8 av receivers and sets of speakers of all sizes and ages. A general opinion helps give me a place to start

Well I am sadly lacking in hifi but what I do have I am never letting go lol. My shiny marantz 2225 and near mint dynaco a25's sound great for my vinyl and most music in general but I also listen to modern music and need a little umph sometimes

Harman kardon avr 65
Kenwood kr-v8080
Sony str-de925
Harman kardon avr 7300
And also a Harman kardon pa2000 that I will link eventually. Those are the receivers and I don't need a million speakers for surround sound. 4 mains and a sub is enough for me
 
I'll be pushing a pair of definitive technologies bp7006 supertowers and haven't decided what other pair yet

Right now I'm trying to decide what to use in the first place for my modern music and movies, then purge everything else

I really like that Harmon Kardon AVR 7300 - a monster, well liked in reviews though I see that some have experienced problems. Put all those receivers into Google with "problems" typed in after the name - see what you come up with. The others are decent, too - but everything is pretty old.
What are your requirements? Do you need a phono input? Do you have anything that uses HDMI? TV, BluRay player? If so, I'd sell 'em all and get something decent with HDMI inputs and start building from there. Speakers are more important than the receiver, in my opinion.

I think I have speakers covered and will test them out for my ear with whichever amp and see which groupings I prefer since I have quite a few different brands and sizes already. The 7300 is also huge, it's about twice as deep as some of the others and kind of tall, but I have both remotes for it at least. I have mains, surrounds, satellites and centers, but I still think I just want a pair of mains, a pair of rears and a sub or 2
