Need help identifying a tonearm

Can anyone identify this tonearm. I think is an early SME but I can’t find any identifying marks. It is on a NEAT 851 turntable that I can’t find any info on either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not an early SME or later version, has SME similarities in design/style but can't say I recognize a maker.
A rough approximation of age is 80's and on.

alignment method sure is interesting. Slidey pivot like an SME but I like the locking thumb screws and the jacking screw sticking out the front to precisely move the pivot back and forth.

wonder if the base plate can be flipped around so the adjustment knob sticks out the back for better access.

There are a lot of SME "cues" on this arm, but it's not. The main giveaway is that it doesn't use a knife-edge pivot.

Given that it is on a NEAT (and we need pictures of it, too), I suspect Japanese origin, and I wouldn't be entirely sure it is not very high level DIY. I suspect it is from the early/mid sixties, based on it having antiskating, but no cuing and the look of the headshell and finger lift.

So an 80’s add to an older Neat TT ? Seems a stretch

any ideas on a manufacturer ? Did Onkyo make anything like this ?

Been looking/ searching for days. Found it. It is a Neat tonearm. The GA-23 made in the 60’s

Had a feeling it was but there were no markings on it. I found 2 pictures and that one page and that was it. One I pulled from a vintage Japanese electronics page on Facebook. (Japan Facebook) lol, had to translate everything.

It's a Neat GA-23. NEAT GA-23 Professional Long Tonearm. 35cm.
