Can't seem to find any info on these Polk floorstanders from 1985. Anyone able to identify them?

Theyre a freebie if i want em... but one of them doesnt sound right. I was also thinking that driver was a replacement, its the only one with that outer foam ring.

For free if all that's wrong is one midbass driver and possibly a tweeter, go grab them. You should be able to find the proper replacements. I would be all over them myself.

@F1nut of that iteration what was the difference between the "B" & "C"?
The B has the Peerless tweeter and a fuse on the crossover board for tweeter protection. The C has the nasty SL2000 tweeter and a polyswitch on the crossover board for tweeter protection.

I would already be on my way to pick them up for free. Lucky for you I am about 2,500 miles away. :jump::jump:

Replacement mid drivers are available. With a recap you could have some nice speakers for not much change. Of if you decide that the speakers are not for you, they are easily resold for more than your investment.

I don't know much about Polks, so keep that in mind.
Are those an SDA model? Asking because I think they should have a matched side by side pair of woofers/midwoofers?
If yes, is the cable included?

The SDA's need a connecting cable between them. The RTA's don't.
If my living room was bigger I would have a pair of RTA's. I am thinking about trying some 11's now that I've had the 10's for some time now.

You may be missing out. If you run across a pair of Monitor 7's at a decent price you should give them a try.
