My first Polk speakers

[gmann77]

Found a pair of Polk Audio speakers today. There are no model numbers on the back, so I could use a hand from the Polk experts in identifying them. Did I do okay, or did I strike out?

Thanks!

If they sound like crap to you and they cost a million dollars, you got screwed!

The RT series is okay. Just above their entry level, and far from their best. However, even the lower end Polks can sound pretty good.

I paid $30 for them, so I suppose I could could have done worse.

$30 looks like a pretty good deal as long as the drivers are all good. Maybe consider a powered sub to go with 'em.

You got a pretty good deal. @Wolverine and I saw very similar Polk towers in a thrift store recently, with the corresponding sub, for the asking price of $100. The price you paid is a way better....and maybe more accurate.....representation.

Congrats on your pickup! Hard to go wrong at $30 so give them a listen and if you like them that is all that counts.
