Need help to identify. Found these speakers.
24.5"tall x 14.5" wide x 12" deep.
Wood veneer. Somewhat heavy. No markings or labels.

There is a wood trim with miter edges that goes on front. Need to measure woofer might be 12"?.

Looks somewhat like the complement of drivers in an old Marantz Imperial 7G but very poorly finished comparatively.

Any help on this would be great. I seen them and you all know how it is had to take them home more of just curiosity. This might be one of those why did I do that at least they were cheap,

So you did get them? If so, then pull the screen off the baffle and pull the drivers. My suspicion is the drivers are vintage OEM types made by CTS or similar, nothing wrong with that, but the speakers are either DIY or made to a price point for a stereo store chain as an in-house brand.

They could sound decent, but the crossover is likely 4 components or less, even for a 3 way.

Technically, if the boxes are solid, there's an opportunity to DIY build something that could sound really good if that is a potential project goal. Of course, that runs into some $$$.

The drivers do look like CTS sourced units and that means these were possibly a house brand of a stereo chain or electronics store back in the 1970's. With a decent cross-over those could sound quite good. Not audiophile speakers by any means but decent hi-fi sound by 1970's standards.

Originally, CTS was Chicago Telephone Supply, but stopped making telephones in 1940. They went on to become a diverse component manufacturer, and through acquisition, also made loudspeaker parts during the 60's and 70's. They officially changed their name to CTS in the early 60's.

Could be DIY. I had a pair of Intrinsic Audio speakers with a very similar look. All CTS drivers. They were not very efficient but had a warn sound.

So i pulled on of the mid's out and it and the woofer both a square mag's on them. There where no markings on the mid need to pull woofer. I looked up cts and i'm leaning toward that these are cts speakers. I have to say the sound not bad just with fm radio and they were sitting on concret floor.

Square magnets are a signature feature of many CTS made drivers. It was not a CTS exclusive feature by any means but CTS used square magnets far more than any US based driver manufacturer.

The zinc screws on the tweeter point toward DIY for me, as does the window screen for protection against cat claws.

Hard to imagine a speaker manufacturer catering to pet owners.
