New from New York

I think I rode my bike through there about a decade ago, when I lived in New Brunswick. I used to take LONG, LONG rides down the D&R Canal road, sometimes following roads east and west. I remember it being sort of idyllic small-town America.
 
Its a pretty place to get lost. Some biiiiiig hills if you go the wrong or right way. Definitely D & R trails all over here. I take less ambitious bike trips around here still.

Ah yes, Academy! Right next to Adorama. A dangerous combo indeed. And Alabaster books and B&N right around the corner. If you're serious, that would be awesome! I saw other NYCers in this thread, we could have a mini meet!

I used to work in that area. What is now the W hotel at 18th( edit it was 17th) and Park, was once the Guardian Life building . Its a cool area. I don't make it there much now.:idea:
