Hey, welcome to
the audio brig...AK,
Herring Choker.

Lots of Newf's
and Blue Nosers
aboard as well.

You got gear near?
What sort, m'8?

Q

Sadly I lost all my audio gear/vinyl and instruments a few years ago to fire and have only replaced some instruments and recording gear.

I've only been listening to music through YouTube and SiriusXM through some random well used cheap solid state stuff.

Someday I may invest in some higher quality components again. You guys might give me the kick in the ass to start me down that road again.

There's a fair bit of PAST discussions that have taken place on this site, wherein others had found themselves trying to get into the "Listening Game".

Check out the above data using the "Search" engine (upper right corner) and follow up on the suggestions that were previously made.

Check out the AK "Forums" for specific questions, to dig up past comments on particular audio gear.

Also, follow up out various sources: on AK sales/estate sales/auctions/garage sales/pawns/goodwill stores/kijij or estab online companies like "Canuck Audio Mart". Try for local, to hear how the different parts play out.

What ever you do...take yer time!
