he guys, figured that I'd join and say Hi.

It kinda started when I got the 380se's for free when I asked a guy why they were next to a fire pit.
I traded an engine and transmission for the reciever and the subwoofer and the XLS-12's
and the component speakers have been pawnshop finds.

My Setup

65" Samsung Q-series 4k @ 60Hz smart TV (2017 model)
Denon AVR-791 7.1 Dolby @ 125wpc

Cerwin Vega 380SE (were supposed to be burned in a bonfire, but I saved them just in time)
Cerwin Vega XLS-12's for Zone 2
Cerwin Vega Re20 for Highs
Cerwin Vega LS-5C Center Channel
Boston XB6 Powered Subwoofer @ 200w

I also have an Acoustic Research Technologies 32 band EQ and Cerwin Vega DB-10B Bass TurboCharger BNIB but currently running it all through HDMI and I dont have any type of Pre Amp or Amplifier.

Any opportunity to learn something new to get more out of my pride and joy would be greatly appreciated

I have a pair of U321's on the way back burner since someone stole one of the main drivers.

I scour the local recycler's here in town all the time for amplifiers that are 4 Ohm capeable, and i dont have the ability of paying the outrageous premium costs associated with High end stuff.

Needless to say with a 700 sqr foot apartment, my dishes and cabinets tremble when it gets used.

Covid19 turned me back into a gamer.
inherently ended up building a cheap budget PC with all wireless peripherals, (i5-4430 32gb ddr3 ram, 1TB SSD, 1660Ti)
and now looking at Soundblaster Soundcards to get rid of the onboard sound, and ease the bandwidth used though the GPU's HDMI port

the 380's are far from perfect, but are electronically sound, other than a dustcover separating a little bit, a dust cover being needing to be replaced, and some TLC to the cabinets to really bring them back to life. but as of now, they're fine for me.

the hopes are to eventually get a CV Powered Subwoofer to round out the entire theme.

that lamp has Gaffing tape under it to keep it from Falling off XD
