at what point does someone become a "hater" ? Is there a percentage of things they love vs things they hate that categorizes them as a "hater"?

I happen to love most things audio

Although I stand by my original statement, however harsh it may have seemed, it was meant to be snarky and I was actually hoping to get a laugh out of some body.

Don’t like the looks of it but that’s probably a marketing thing dealing with competitors in the same price range….Using a 3 phase motor solves a number of issues and adds control….

I’m very pleased there’s research and development going on in the high end turntable world:thumbsup:

Note that 3-phase motor belt-drive turntable with electronic generation of signals was already done on the EMT 928, year 1968.

Yes was well aware that a variety of EMTs used 3 phase motors….was just having a conversation with @BillWojo about using a 3 phase motor in a build and Bill pointed out:
“cheap a single phase inverter for a small 3 ph motor will do the same AND you can set the frequency! And so much more! Some have thepossibility of multiple preset speeds and all have accel and decel adjustments.”

That proves that great minds think alike, or copy one another :rflmao:
