New Thorens Reference Table

Fortunately there are many different styles of turntables in the market place today. Buy the one that meets your needs and don't complain about what others like and want to own. You are neither right or the arbiter of good taste.

Looks impressive but I have never liked previous Thorens arms. Maybe this one is good. But if I had the money and the space I would rather have SME. Even a Model 15 or 20 with a Mark V arm would be great if they would fit. Maybe I'll try a Mark Levenson 5105. The one I heard at Audio Classics sounded great with a Denon cartridge and would fit where my TD 125 is now. My Rabco SL-8E is showing its age after 50 years. I like my Levinson 515b which is an updated VPI Prime Signature with Fat boy arm, Speed control, stronger better isolated motor, etc etc and I got it for 1/2 price new.
