New to Audiokarma

I have been using this site for a lot of advise and I have to say I am so impressed by the knowledge presented here. I'm an old dude, first got into stereo when I was stationed at Bitburg AB, Germany back in 1978 and worked in the audio-photo club selling Teac components, Dual turntables and Klipsch speakers. I foolishly ditched all my vintage gear as new tech came along. So now I am trying to get back to my roots and reclaim some vintage gear. I just picked up a Sansui G-7000, I have, and have had for a long time, JBL-4311B speakers. Anyhow, looking forward to seeing posts and what all this site has to offer!

I guess it’s OK for a newbie to welcome another newbie to AK!

Welcome to AK, I too was in Germany from 1979 to 1982 I was stationed in Giesen been back often sure has changed

Welcome! Yes I too was a TITE troop at Bitburg from 80-82. Avionic and I were actually roommates for awhile when we both first got there. I went another way with my Infinity RS1.5’s and JVC A-X9. Loved that setup and regret getting rid of both of those more than any other pieces I have owned. All at the A/P Club .
