They're the satellite speakers for the Clairtone Project G.What exactly are those things? Never seen anything like it.
New to Audiophile u-verse
Thankfully we live our lifes able to make choices that suit our taste. I know I couldn't find any new speakers for the price, that I would like better than my old used speakers. Even with the cost of restoring them and that included buying 6 new NOS midrange drivers, and refoaming the bass drivers. I think it all depends on the circumstances.

It would be easy to say the speakers you have are fine for now. But that would be doing you an injustice. Better to move on to better speakers so you can start enjoying the music.
All my speakers are from the 60's and 70's. So I can't recommend anything newer. I have and use all of these so I can say that any of them would be a major improvement and will hold you for a LONG time. I will list them so you can broaden your search.
In no order of preference.
Bozak 302a-----------------Very good speaker, needs little power, this one could end your search
Bozak 301 Tempo.--------Very good speaker, mostly same parts as Bozak 302a, smaller box, better mid, less but tighter bass, same top, needs 50% more power
Rectilinear 111-------------Very good speaker, nice even sound from bottom to top, this one could end your search
Realistic Optimus 5B-----Very good speaker, one of Shack's best, not the 5, get the 5B
Criterion 5XB---------------Very good speaker, this one's different than many other Criterion's, very good large bookshelf copy of the main brands
Fisher XP10----------------Very good speaker, needs "lots" of power, laid back sound, bass rolls off but goes to 26hz, not a top end sizzler
Pioneer CS99A------------Very good speaker needs very little power, "must" be on the floor and away from wall or will be bass shy, then plays all music, big surprise
KLH 5------------------------Very good speaker
Realistic MachOne-------Good speaker if played loud or no good, it's all or nothing, very limited speaker but does it's thing just fine
Dynaco A40XL------------Very good speaker, very polite, does not shout, listen 24/7
Wharfedale W70D--------Very good speaker
Kenwood KL777A--------Very good speaker, works best on the floor, super fast speaker, it's a rocker
Advent OLA----------------Very good speaker, needs power
KLH 17----------------------Very good speaker
Fisher XP7B---------------Very good speaker, not a top end sizzler, not the 7 get the 7B
Parts are available for all.
All contradictions are welcome of course.

Went I went and done it... I looked around and have a local contact who turns around vintage stereo equipment. He had a Marantz 2235b and some EPI Stat 450's for sale. So...I bought them and replaced my HK330 VI. With the addition of the larger nicer speakers and a receiver with more output I think I have found my system. I love the sound of the electro stats. Great high's. The foam has been redone in the speakers and everything is working great. I also added an HK disc changer for some of my old CD's and am buying a bluetooth receiver to connect to the system as well and have a Dual CS 1264 turntable on the way to work next to the Pioneer. This will give me the options I want all around. Now to collect some vinyl that I like and I'll be set! Definitely have the bug.

I don’t know the speakers myself but I’m sure you hear an upgrade with the EPI’s.
Now, how about giving that Marantz receiver some air? Try putting the turntable on the top of table leaving the vents of the receiver clear. You will have more room to change records too.

I have seen these all-in-one stereos, but never speakers like that. It looks like something from the late 1960s. I have to admit, love late 60s designs. The architecture, fashions.... They were either super elegant or plain weird; nothing in between. That stereo, one can say what they wish about sound quality and performance, it is extremely elegant.
