New to me, JBL 4430s ...a few questions

Here's a little update since you have the popcorn out...
I picked up some 2205s (not the A versions) for dirt cheap and am having them re-coned into 2235s. OEM of course. I also ordered a new set of JBL diaphragms. None of this is completely necessary as the existing components are in great shape but I almost have the necessary components for a second pair. lol
Also, while I was at my nearest JBL pro guy's shop I noticed he has some NOS 2404s available. I'm curious about adding these in as well and have seen it done before on other forums.
I'll post up pics when I get the goods.

I received back my 2205s reconed to 2235s today. They look fantastic and I'll be popping them in tomorrow for first listen.
I also purchased some new diaphragms for the comp drivers which will remain on standby duty until I get curious enough to replace the aluminum ones.
