Don't worry about the discrepancy between the amplifier and speaker power rating. Speaker power handling ratings are often exaggerated, and moving to a smaller size speaker will also throw away some bass performance and efficiency.
Also, anything but top of the line Sansui speakers seem to sound worse, in general. I'd say stick with those or better, if you want Sansui speakers.
