Just today I had the pleasure of opening the turntable packaged, shipped, and sold to me by AK member Silvernutsaq. This is hands down the most beautiful table that I have had the pleasure to see or touch. I am unbelievably happy with this purchase. When he said it was near mint he really was not kidding. All original boxes, foam, manuals, and all accessories.
Now on to the most important part, was this really an upgrade? For me I was able to discern on the first note of Donald Fagen's The Nightfly. This was what I had been missing in my vinyl and stereo collection. This was such a step up from the former Sony table I can not even begin to describe it. I am almost embarrassed to even be commenting on the idea of this being an upgrade. Of course it had to be! Just one excited AK member with another wonderful transaction and experience via AK. Please let me know of any additional info or comments you all might have on this particular table.
As always here are the pictures. enjoy!
PS the model is a Yamaha YP-D71, but you all already knew that
