Well Here is the scoop, someone called and offered 50, then soneone else offered 75. then 100. as of right now it's upi to 200. Oh well worth a shot I think you have to be right on it in minutes and then go get it seconds later

What is it with these guys using Craig's List then turning it into an auction?
Ticks me off.
The other day a guy listed an onkyo reciever for $50 here, I called and talked to him and told him I couldn't pick it up until the next morning. He said he would hold it for me. When I called the next morning he had sold it to someone else for $65. The very next day it was listed again for $95 by someone else.

Hmm..that's interesting. There was no "OBO" in the original Ad.

Anyway, when I do see a price with an OBO, I usually offer LOWER than the stated price. That's what I assume a "best offer" is. It's your presonal best offer of a price LOWER than the one in the ad. Why do people offer MORE and then tip the seller off to thinking "why did this person just offer me more than I asked?" That just doesn't make sense to me.

CL finds often go to he who shows up first with cash, not the highest offer.

Come on you n00bs, get with program!

:D
