I'm not sure what you need done, but there is a shop that does pro amp work.
They can be a bit pricey, but they do Good Work!
They've worked on my HK Citation 22 and my Adcom amps!
They are on Port Royal Rd, just off Braddock Rd outside the beltway -

Music technology does pro sound and audiophile gear - so they may be a bit pricey for something like that.
I did some googling and found MCS was J.C. Penney's house brand, and your Dad's stereo
could have been made by a number of firms over the years. Apparently its 35 watts per channel.
