long time reader, and although a member of a couple of other forums, not joined AK until now. Thought it was about time!
Am retired and just getting back into hifi after quite a few years where I seemed to just ‘make do’ with kit.
have always had a TT but have to say not using it much these days - I cannot cope with cracks/pops etc and with only a small vinyl collection, haven’t yet found a way of cleaning up the vinyl to a point where I wanted to use it. Sad or what?
So, about 18 months ago, I ‘u-turned’ to digital and have spent the last year and a half improving (albeit from a very low base), my kit. My streamer is based on a Raspberry Pi4.
I have started leaning towards vintage kit and only last week, picked up a pair of Celestion 44s to replace my 15XRs.
