After a great regular season once again they will fold like a cheap tent come playoff time. ;) Seen it soooo many times over the years.

^ My same thoughts only towards the Hab's,

Does anyone else miss having the Nords in the League?

I loved the Nordiques...especially because they introduced (audaciously!!) the idea/reality that you could have more than 1 or 2 "internationals" on your team and be very good! Shocking at the time for a lot of Canadian Hockey "Purists". The rivalry with the Habs was...EPIC!!!

The Stastny brothers?

Not to mention with the B's too, "The Good Friday Massacre" was intense! I've always felt bad for the dude from the Nords who got sucker punched and I believe knocked out

The 80's era powder blue jersey's with the iconic fleur-de-lis were super dope!

Le Petit Tigre aka Michel Bergeron was must see behind the bench

That guy was ex-Nordique player Jean Hamel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Hamel
I miss the skits on TV when they would hit the Nordique's mascot (Badaboum) with a frying pan, hilarious stuff that really pissed the Nord's fans. Man did they have great players pass through their ranks. Very fortunate for Colorado hockey fans I guess.

Ok...the playoffs have started and The Leafs lost the first game of their series to Boston (not a shocker). So...I'm all-in with T.O., but I love hockey first and I'll be watching the whole playoffs regardless of how they fare...who else is spending a lot of time over the 7 weeks or so watching the best sport in the world?

Cheers!

Vancouver faces off against Nashville in a few hours in Vancouver so that's the series I'll be paying the most attention to. Will also be keeping one eye open on both Florida teams.
