Great pastime and a lovely afternoon but I've never fallen out of my chair watching baseball.
Either you get the mental nuances of the game or you don't . no shame in that . When you allow fighting in your sport and allow the skill players to suffer , :thumbsdn: .

Well, one out of two wasn't too bad.
Very happy for the Kings and all of their organization. My daughter had just gotten out of the hospital 2 weeks ago after a 6 month stay. The Kings came to visit in December and she got her picture taken with Captain Dustin Brown and Jeff Carter. We're going to make sure we get a chance to have her and our family get a picture with the Stanley Cup, missed it the first time.

New York should of won the first two, they were the better team, and they are the better team, period. Game three was a glitch, albeit a very big glitch.

Anyhow that aside if anyone goes to the parade on Monday take some pictures and post em. Some of us east coast expatriates would appreciate it. (Yes I know I am screwing around with the meaning of "Expatriate" but east coast vs west might as well be another country)

I personally like the Rangers and root for them unless they play the Kings...but to say that the Rangers are a better team is nonsense.
Kings beat not so arguably the top 3 teams in San Jose, The Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks. Beating all of them on the road in game 7. 2 cups and one semifinal in 3 years should tell you enough. When the Kings got betteras games progressed, Rangers got worse.
Anyway...Congrats to the Rangers....when they get Nash some linemates that will help him, they will be tough to beat.

Looking to see how we may be able to attend the parade. You might also be able to watch it over a TV stream from KTLA channel 5, or KCBS-KCAL TV, I suspect they will be covering it along with KABC. There may also be streaming for Kings Hockey channel too.

I think we may have the Parade on Fox Sports West also.
As to the Ranger fans here. Honestly this series was so good (Except game 3) that I would have had no issue with it going 7 and other than a couple puck bounces in the wrong direction it should have gone 7. (Of course the Kings would have won it Game 7 because that is how they roll
) The Rangers showed a lot of class and played the game the way it should be I thought and they have nothing to be sad about.

Heh, I'm sure most players would gladly give the teeth up and more to hoist and drink from the cup. Besides, as Brownie is captain and leader, I'm confident he has an excellent dental plan. He's only 29!

I went to the NHL store in Manhattan, and was not crazy about the championship caps or shirts...so I bought my daughter a Kopitar T shirt, and a cap that I will place on my desk at school along with the 2012 one to annoy the Devils and Rangers fans at work.
