No WAF? Blame Martha Stewart!

OvenMaster

Baby, you're my winterblue
I was looking at the August 07 dead-tree issue of Wired, courtesy of my local public library, when I came across something that made me go :yikes:. I immediately thought of those at AK with WAF issues. Gentlemen, here's why you're having problems:

"Wired: OK, let's talk tips. What's your home music setup? How do you keep all the wires and cords to a minimum?

Stewart: I live in an old house with no closets and no built-ins. I hate big cupboards. So, where do you put your stereos and all that stuff? The solution is easy: Put an iPod in each room, like in a drawer. Add wireless speakers and the sound system disappears into the room. It's so simple, and you don't have to buy all that crap. You know how many years of crap I had? "

Now you know who's empowering your wives, guys, and filling their heads with "ideas". :nono: We have met the enemy, and it is Martha.

Has Martha Stewart ever have sex listening to a Pink Floyd LP?

Even her Onan Doppelganger won't touch her.

The closest she ever came was in an episode of South Park, when she "reverse ingested" a Thanksgiving turkey...that poor bird still has nightmares in the netherworld.

Wow...she has a problem with a system in the room, but she has all that home made crap all over the tables and shelves. Pretty off the wall IMO.

And most of her products are crap. Not that I've ever bought any of it. No, not me, unhh uhh, nope:whip:.............R1

A while back, reading Jean Auel's "Clan of the Cave Bear," it suddenly occured to me that Ayla - fabulous single-mom, domesticator of the horse (? maybe it was the dog), peace negotiator, cave decorator and gracious hostess - was the Ur-Martha.

Awful book, incidentally, unless you like to snigger.

My wife loves Martha Stewart. Fortunately, she likes music (including records) and hasn't seen that interview, so I think I'm safe for now <WHEW>!

Maybe she can show us how to knit speaker cozies with :banana:on top, to match the ballerinas on the toilet paper roll on top of the tank in the can so we realize every day what crappy systems sre in the house:D

Martha's not the only one... all those designer/decorator/organizer programs on cable throw out people's stereos, computers, tv's because they don't fit into their stupid 'designs'. It's laughable to see a keyboard and monitor sitting on a desk in the middle of the room with no wires or power cords to be seen, or a flat tv mounted on a stone fireplace with no cables or cords.
