Dynalab is a known White van name. It sounds similar to Dynamat, keeping in character with other names like "Audiofile" that sound similar to real brands or terms, but aren't.

Oh man! You are right! I was thinking Dynaudio, which was a good brand.

Yeah. A lot of those White Van brand names are as similar to real established brands as they can get without copyright infringement. They do that to trick people who don't know a whole lot about speakers to buy their crap.

It's a phrase used by persons who are heavily immersed in car audio equipment. So to them, an automotive speaker is the status quo. Thus, persons in that demographic must say 'house' speakers to distinguish between the two. Where a house speaker is used in the house and a speaker is assumed to be used in a car.

I believe these particular ones are emulating Dynaudio who has a model 2.8 which looks very similar (size, shape, color, setup) to these.
